Venues
All games are played out of 5 venues Hibiscus Stadium, Runcorn State High School, Calamvale Community College, Mansfield State High School and Rochedale State High School. We do not organise the fixtures for games, that all comes from South West Metro. Games can be scheduled anywhere between 5:20pm and 9:30pm on a Friday night for U16-U19, 8am – 4pm on a Saturday for U10-U14 and Saturday mornings at Runcorn State High for U8.
Uniforms
Shorts After grading games, all players must wear Hurricanes Club playing shorts. For new players, your registration fees include a pair of club shorts, and this will be organised on our uniform collection days.
Jerseys - Hurricanes provide team singlets for all players. The club singlets always remain the property of the Club and are to be returned at the end of the season.
Each team requires a team manager. A manager’s role assists with the day to day running of each team and aids the coach in communicating with players and parents. If you are interested in finding out more about this role, please let me know or speak with your coach. Your coach will set up a group chat with all parents.
On game day we also require people to score. If we do not have these volunteers from all teams, the games cannot go ahead. If you do not know how to score, please don’t worry; we are all here to help and will guide you through the process. Please note: All players’ carers are required to score unless they have paid to not score. ($50)
