The below information only relates to the training schedule and those not playing games just train only:

Younger children training

For those born in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 training will be held at Runcorn State High School. You can choose to train either Monday or Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm or on Friday from 4 pm to 5 pm. Training is one day a week and please let us know if you need to change your training day so that we can adjust the number of coaches accordingly. Girls can go any day of the week, but we do get a lot of girls go to the Wednesday session.

We will ask that you tick off your child’s name when you come in as some registrations did not come through and we can help the people where it did not come through if their name is not on the list. We will have the child’s name in alphabetical order.

Older children training

For those born 2014, 2013, 2012 training will be at McGregor State High School. The training time is on Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Please enter through Blackwattle Street and go through the gates. There are 4 new courts built there and it will be so enjoyable training outdoors for the next couple months. There is a gate you need to go through and the coach will have the key.

If your date of birth is 2011, 2010 you will be at a different location.

During this season we will look at Movie days, what holiday camps will be available and any tournaments that you may be able to participate in. These will come out in the next few weeks as our priority is to get everyone organised for the first few weeks.

Basketball is like any other sports if there is equipment such as goggles for swimming, your football if you play soccer etc, it is advisable to bring your own Basketball and make sure your name and phone number is on it. Balls sizes are for boys and girls up to the age of and including 11 tears old use size 5 then children 12,13 years old use size 6. You can buy basketballs from us for $15 however we are waiting for size 5 balls to arrive in 3 weeks’ time. All other sizes are available now.
